But first, good news, the mini-prints are in:

You can't tell from a still photo, but these things are sparkly.

On the left: Significant Bracelets, a debut print you can get in the Add-Ons section of your backer survey.

On the right: Backlit Triad, the campaign-exclusive print that comes with every book in the Leif & Thorn Volume 4 Kickstarter.

Survey answers can be changed (for now)

Want to go back and add more merch? Need to update your shipping address? Just go back to the survey link from your email -- or get a new one sent to you -- and make some changes.

Note: only 2 people so far have taken a chance at getting the original cover art. If you were afraid to pick that because you thought the odds were too low to be worth it...good news, your odds are shockingly high.

In about a month, everything but the addresses will be locked. (Address changes stay open until the books are ready to ship.) Until then, you have options.

There is one survey question I need answered ASAP...

I can't finish the credits in Leif & Thorn Volume 4 until I have the answers to "what name would you like to be credited by?"

And I'm not putting the print process on hold indefinitely to make sure everyone gets in. (There's always one or two people who don't finish their surveys until, like, January.)

At the end of this week I'm sending the files to the printer. If you want to be in the credits, get your survey in by then!

Tell Me About Your Feelings, Tell Me About Your Stories (a survey update)

Kickstarter funds are in the bank! Surveys will go out later this week -- here's what you need to know.

Surveys this year will be sent using BackerKit. They need more setup than the built-in Kickstarter surveys, but the results are so much more powerful. And the customer service has been great.

You do not need a BackerKit account to fill out your survey! Just click the link when it shows up in your email.

Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide your shipping info, and pick up some more add-ons if you like. (BackerKit's add-on interface is also a level up from the one Kickstarter includes. It has pictures and everything!)

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your  responses (including your shipping address) at any time before I start putting books in the mail. When we hit that point, I'll give you a heads-up, and then close the surveys.

To review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your original email...or requesting a new link under "Lost your survey?" on the BackerKit project page  at leifandthorn-4.backerkit.com.

Great news -- we hit the "More Book" stretch goal!

This campaign is officially a Leif & Thorn funding record, and an all-time backer record, and just 2 people away from having a triple-digit backer count. Seriously, you folks are crushing it.

The next goal on the list...okay, it was going to be a Cool Slipcase. But I gotta level with you, those things are so pricey, there's no way we'd fund them in the next 6 hours.

So I came up with a quick Stretch Goal #1.5: Two Prints.

The two front-runners in the exclusive mini-print poll are still neck-and-neck. If we can hit $5,000 in funding, I'll go ahead and send everybody both.

(Only the first-place art will be the Volume 4 Campaign Exclusive. The second-place art, I'll make a normal print run, and have it available in future campaigns. But everybody who preordered Volume 4 will get one for free.)

As of this posting, it'll take less than $400 to hit Two Prints. Half a dozen sketched books, and we'd be there. Extreme procrastinators, your time has come.

Just A Little More Of Everything I've Waited For

Welcome, new backers of the final 48 hours! 

With your help, there's just $200-ish to go until the More Book stretch goal.

(We're also up to 92 backers total. The BICP Master's Edition got 93, which means there's a new all-time record on the horizon, just waiting to be reached.)

...and we better make it to the longer book, because even with the extra pagecount, I'm struggling with how much bonus material I'll be able to fit in.

Do I go all-out with the Kolpovision extras, or trim them down to squeeze other stuff in? 

There's a whole character profile on Atarangi and family, who debuted in Volume 4 -- do I put that here, or save it for a later book where they have more appearances? 

How much interest do folks have in floor plans? Because, in the name of keeping the backgrounds consistent from one storyline to the next, I have drawn so many floor plans.

Let me know what sounds most interesting to you!

And let your friends know, if they want to get in on the campaign...there's still time. (Just not much.)
